me
I live in the Eden Valley, Cumbria, UK, with my husband Paul and our daughters, Bethany and Eliza. In 2002 I founded The Mother magazine.
Read worldwide, it advocates conscious and optimal parenting. I’ve worked as a spiritual celebrant since 1995 and officiate at weddings, namings and Blessingway ceremonies.
Along with my husband Paul, I created the Peaceful Pregnancy CD in 1995 (available from here) and founded the National Waterbirth Trust in New Zealand.
I’m a holistic breastfeeding counsellor and the author of The Drinks Are On Me ~ everything your mother never told you about breastfeeding.
